Cobra King F7 ONE Length Irons Review

At the 2016 Masters, Bryson DeChambeau took the golf world by storm as an amateur via his stellar play and unique set of irons… all the same length. Cobra clearly liked DeChambeau’s style, throwing a huge endorsement deal his way and doubling down by launching their own line of single length clubs – the King F7 ONE Length irons and the KING Forged ONE Length irons.

Cobra King LTD Driver Review

Anyone remember this?

Rickie 410 yard drive

I remember it, and it was nasty. Watching the highlights when they first ran back in March, I couldn’t help but notice that the sole of his driver also looked pretty damn sharp. Good looks, 410 yard bombs… I had to have one.

Puma Titantour Ignite Review

Cobra Puma Ignite

As a kid, you quickly learn the difference between a cool shoe and a “bobo shoe”. Not endorsing this form of bullying, but the fact is advertisers have done a great job of making us brand snobs. In my case, (lucky or not), I had hippie parents who saw no reason to get name-brand kicks (smart parents) so I was keenly aware of my bobo shoe status.

Puma Biodrive Leather Golf Shoes

Somehow, after reviewing golf shoes for 5 years, I have never stepped into a pair of Pumas. Thankfully this atrocity has now come to an end. It begins each winter when the new shoe models are rolled out and I make a list of the ones that I think are both cool looking and comfortable. There are always the usual suspects – brands that I know and trust – but it is much more fun to find shoes that I have yet to wear. Like anyone, it is easy to get locked into one company and never venture far from the expected.

Cobra Fly-Z Driver Review

Cobra Fly-Z Driver

Cobra Golf’s new Fly-Z line has been garnishing some rather outstanding reviews across the golfing world since its release not too long ago, and I for one am thrilled this club has been in my bag to start out 2015.

Cobra Bio Cart Bag Review

Cobra Bio Cart Bag

Yea, I’m one of “those” guys….you know the guys that totes everything short of a practice net to the golf course. Wallet, phone, keys, money, snacks, yardage book, camera, GoPro and sometimes a video camera. By the time I am done, my pockets can tend to be a bit “overcrowded”. Heck, just getting the cart and unloading all of my crap into my bag has seriously been one of the largest burdens of my rounds. That’s no longer the case though now that I’ve put the Cobra Bio Cart Bag into play.

Cobra BiO CELL Driver, Fairway, Hybrid, Iron Review

Cobra BioCell Drivers

I’ve got my work cut out for me today, for sure. I have spent the last few weeks testing out Cobra’s complete Bio Cell and Bio Cell+ lineup, and now it’s time to spill the beans. Take a breath, this will be a complete review of the Bio Cell driver, fairway wood, hybrid, and irons, as well as the Bio Cell+ driver and irons. I’m still not quite sure how to break this down in a way that will not annoy/bore/annoy (in that order), but like a good Three Guy, I’m sure as hell gonna try.

Cobra Tour Trusty Wedges

Cobra Tour Trusty

Cobra has recently released their Tour Trusty wedges, designed to be a performance wedge that follows in the footsteps of prototypes played by Cobra’s Tour Pros (Fowler, Poulter, Blixt, yadda yadda). In a nutshell, this is Cobra throwing its hat into the tour-level  wedge ring, vying to lock horns with the Titleist Vokeys and Clevelands of the marketplace. The club is designed with non-offset shaping, and selling points include: larger milled grooves (more spin), a special notch K-grind (better turf interaction), and “variable feed rate milling” (more spin).
